Nine Flages fly over the Arizona Memorial

The memorial is located in the "Arizona Veterans Memorial Park" in Bullhead City on 12-acre site on the Colorado River. The Park will include: a beach, ramadas , a speakers gazebo, two pedestrian bridges, memorial plaza with a fountain and monument with the names of the fallen, beneath nine flags including: American, Arizona, American Legion, Army Navy Marine Corps, Air Force, Coast Guard and POW. As planned, the park will be created from state trust land, and the Monument will be built on an out cropping of land between two bays and will face out toward the Colorado River, providing a dramatic venue for the monument.

The "Trail of Memories" will be a key element in the Arizona Veterans memorial, extending over 1,600 feet through the memorial park, passing by monuments to Congressional Medal of Honor winners and ending at the Arizona Veterans Memorial Plaza, containing names of over 3,000 fallen service men and women from WWI to present.

Memorial Brick You can pay tribute to a loved one past or present by placing their name on a memorial brick (the names do not have to be military related). These bricks will be placed in clusters along the "Trail of Memories" pathway. Commercial bricks are also available.
