Salute to the Fallen Service Men & Women of Arizona

The Arizona Hero's Memorial will be constructed at the end of the North Peninsula at the highest point in the AVM Park. It will pay tribute to all those who gave their lives in defense of the state and territory of Arizona prior to WWI. the Memorial will consist of a full size bronze statue of a US Calvary Soldier mounted on his horse depicting the era of the Indian wars in Arizona.  Bronze Sculptors are in the process of submitting bids to the AVMI for it's construction in fall of 2007.
